Feb. 02, 1971 - Albert Hall concert cancelled.: A concert starring a controversial underground pop group and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Albert Hall this evening has been cancelled by the management on the grounds that the lyrics were obscene. The concert featured pop star Frank Zappa with the Mothers of Invention. They were to have performed the musical score of Mr. Zappa's film 200 Motels, the story of a pop group on the road.
