Franz Heuser begins tour to advertise Cologne, Germany
1959 - The last coachman of Cologne went on a long trip on April 7th. With his two horses, Dora and Merry, he intends to go to Holland, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Austria. He has a trailer built from an old furniture truck. By this journey the coachman Franz Heuser wants to advertise his home town Cologne. He has Cologne's coat of arms attached to his carriage. Photo shows Franz Heuser with his horses in front of Cologne Cathedral, which he will not see during the next two or three years
