Freda the polar bear investigates a violin case
Feb. 25 Freda The Fiddler Has Many Strings To Her Bow: Freda the Polar bear was a bit nonplussed when faced with a long, black wooden box. This needed looking into. Getting the box open was quite a problem and she didn't manage it until she had taken it into the water with her. What she did discover having opened it, was a violin and Freda, being a musically minded bear, proceeded to play. And what did Freda play? Why the Water Music suite, of course and for an encore - probably Night on the Bear Mountain! Opening strange boxes is hot work, a cooling dip is the thing to spur one on to further effort. And of course the black box goes too
