Fredda Brilliant with sculpture, Woodstock Gallery, London

Mar. 27 Polish actress-sculptor Fredda Brilliant, wife of film director Herbert Marshall, is showing her latest sculpture, Witness to Atrocities, at the Woodstock Gallery, Woodstock Street, London W1. The subject of the sculpture is Mr. Joseph D. Shane, a millionaire, of Beverly Hills, California, whom she met in a hotel in Warsaw recently, after he had visited a Gestapo torture chamber - now preserved as a museum in Warsaw. The expression on his face when he came out was such that Fredda Brilliant decided to make a sculpture of it. Photo shows Fredda Brilliant with her sculpture Witness to Atrocities - at the Woodstock Gallery today
