Free University, Berlin, Clinic Complex model

Aug. 08, 1959 - The model of the clinic-complex of the Free University: in Berlin was opened to the public on Aug. 7th 1959. This centre of the University clinics, the foundation stone of which will be laid on Oct. 21st, 1959 in Berlin Friedenau, will cost about 60 million Marks, and it will be one of the most modern clinic complexes of Europe. The money for this building will be raised partly by the Benjamin Franklin Fund and the other part by Berlin country. The first part of the complex will be finished probably in 1961 and will, apart from 600 beds, contain education and research rooms as well as administration offices, a home for the nurses to live and also a school for the nurses etc
