French Socialist and Communist parties meet
Feb. 23, 1968 - Francois Mitterrand and Waldeck-Rochet, the two leaders of the two big Leftist groups in French politics found themselves sitting at the same table with their principal collaborators. The two parties met to delineate their similarities and differences in an effort to become more united.
