From the beginning of this century until about 1930, Fritzi Massary was the Prima donna of operetta and musical. Her great career started in 1904 at the Berlin Metropol theater. 1932, she appeared for the last time on German stage in the part A woman who knows what she wants by Oscar Strauss, together with her husband, the great stars of the Berlin theatre before 1933.
