Oct. 10, 1960 - Sea lion At Large In The Thames: Fritzi, the performing sealion which escaped from the river boat Queen Elizabeth yesterday, was still at large in the Thames today. The beat had been used as a modern Noah's Ark by Billy smart's Circus to publicise a gala performance at Blackheath in aid of the Variety Club of Grreat Britain-the children's charity organisation.
