Dec. 12, 1959 - Best-seller from USA on the Christmas-market The new game Scrabble which is already a best-seller in the USA is becoming a new hobby for spare time in Germany for all the family. The game consists of a board with 225 fields and of a hundred game-stones. Every stone has one letter of the alphabet printed on one side. You have to put the stones on the table so that you can see the letters clearly. Then each player takes seven stones like a crossword-puzzle you lay a trellis of words. Each letter has now a certain amount of points. Names, geographical notions and foreign words are not allowed to be set. The winner is the one who has the most points. OPS:- Marianne Wischmann and Rudolf Prack who met for a Scrabble-Party just before Christmas. Poodle Pinscho is looking on, holding paws with his lady.
