Aug. 08, 1966 - THE WORLD'S FASTEST SHOPPER. The family who held the title of the world's fastest shoppers, are in Britain. They are MR. and MRS. BUZIDRAGIS and son JOE, aged 18, from Hartshorne, Oklanhoma, U.S.A. They won the title last week in a nation-wide shopping spree contest which attracted more than 25, 000, 000 entries in the United States. In 30 minutes they grabbed groceries worth more than £2800, from the shelves and deep freeze of an American supermarket. Now they have come to London to do the same thing in one of our Supermarkets. From 2 o/clock until 2-30 this afternoon, they will try to collect around £3000 of food at the giant Tesco Supermarket in Brixton. They will receive a cash equivalent of the food they carry to the cash registers, and the sponsors, Pepsi-Cola will donate the same amount of money to the Variety Club of Great Britain for the Manually Retarded Children.
