Sep. 09, 1977 - BRITISH MONOPOLY CHAMPIONSHIPS STAGED AT NUCLEAR POWER STATION AT THORNBURY The British Mongpcly Championships are being staged on a Nuclear reactor pile at the Oldbury on Seven power station at Thornbury, near Bristol. Nearly 150 and children throughout Britain are taking part.Each competitorie wearing protective glothing while on the pile, and after leaving the reactor they all through the decontamination wash. The winrer of the_Britieh Crow will represent Britain at the World NonopMy Championships due to be staged at SAM Casino Centre in Monte Carlo in October.
