May 31, 1966 - Debutants at reception to launch new petrol.: European Petroleum today held a reception at the Dorehester Hotel, to launch their new luxury petrol - European - and it is their intention that at each new petrol station selling European the pumps shall be operated by debutantes or former debutantes during the first hour. A team of debutantes have been recruited and they had their first lesson in petrol pumping with the aid of a petrol pump installed in the Stanhope Room of the Dorehester.
