Mar. 03, 1954 - President Neguib taken to hospital condition said to be serious.: President Neguib collapsed at Cairo Airport this morning after seeing off King Saud of Saudi Arabia he was rushed to hospital after an injection of atropine his condition was said to be slightly improved. President Neguin had earlier attended a meeting of the Revolucion Council with others including his second-in-Command- Colonel Nasser, with King Saud as the host at Midnight in the Tahira Palace. The King acted as mediator between the President and members of the Council. The President wants the Council dissolved but others of the Council think it should continue. Photo shows President Neguib with Lieut. Col. Gamal Abdel Nasser the Deputy President seen as they left the Tahira Palace at 3 a.m
