Jan. 01, 1963 - Mr Gaitskell Still Gravely Ill Mr George Brown Cuts Short Tour Of The North: Mr. Gaitskell, the leader of the British Labour Party at present in the Middlesex Hospital with a virus infection is still gravely ill and has so far shown to signs of responding to the treatment given him. Mr.George Brown, the acting leader of the party has cut short his tour of the north to visit his chief. Mr Gaitskell is occupying the same room as Sir Winston Churchill occupied some weeks ago.
