Oct. 10, 1968 - The New James Bond: The new James Bond, is 27 year old male model George Lazenby, a tall rugged Australian who has no acting experience. He is only known in England for his TV commercials. Now he has become an international star overnight playing 007 in the sixth Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
