May 05, 1953 - Colonial Coronation Contingent at Woolwich, Six George Medallists on Parade. Members of the Colonial Coronation contingent, who will take part in the Coronation procession, were at the Royal Artillery Depot, Woolwich, SE London, this morning, wearing their Coronation uniforms. Photo shows on parade six George Medallists who received their awards for gallantry in action in engagements against armed Communist terrorists in Malaya. They are L-R: Police Lt. I.P. Hyde, Police Lt. T.A. Charlton, Cpl Wan Hassan, Cpl Wan Amran, Sgt. Osman, and Cpl. Samion, being inspected by Mr. T.Q. Graffikin, Senior-Assistant Commissioner of the Federation of Malaya Police
