Mar. 03, 1955 - Gerard Philippe in East-Berlin: The famous French actor and film star Gerard Philippe arrived at East-Berlin with the Paris Theatre National Populaire ensemble and will act in Victor Hugo's Ruy Blas on the Berlin Volksbuhne. Philippe is also negotiating with the DEFA, which is planning a French-German co-production film in which the actor would have the part of Till Eulenspiegel'.
