Nov. 11, 1957 - Rehearsing Elektra -At The Royal Opera House. German Singers: Rehearsals were held at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden this morning for the Richard Strauss Opera Elektra'. Gerda Lammers is taking the role of Elektra while Hedwig Mullor-Butow plays Chrysothemis'. Both these singers take over at short notice owing to the illness of the original cast members.
