German SS Cavalry officers on trial for war crimes

Feb. 02, 1964 - SS Cavalry facing the Law: Five former SS officers of the SS Cavalry Regiment 11 are being tried by the Braunschweig grand Jury (schwurgericht). today the massacre of Jews in the former Polish now Soviet town of Pinsk, where far behind the front line 5200 Jews were shot to death in August 1941. among the 100 summoned witnesses is former SS General von dem Bach-Zelewski.
