Former German U-boat crewmen at reunion, Hamburg
May 16, 1954 - Over 2, 000 former U-Boat crewmen from the second world war met on a Saturday in the Winterhuder Faehrhaus in Hamburg with an air of camaraderie. Veterans from the first world war also took part. It was the first time the former U-Boat members had met under friendly circumstances.
