Aug. 10, 1951 - Week for German-American Friendship! In Oberursel at Frankfurt am Main a week for German-American friendship is occurring, and one can find a camp of tents for German and American children there as well. The children's camp was organized by the American Youth Activities group and sponsored by General Perry. Mrs. Ellen McCloy invited American and German women during this event to coffee and, as our picture shows, gives the children some time to visit. Here, we see her with German and American children at a film screening in AYA-Children's Camp in Oberursel
