1953 - Edda Goering as candidate for confirmation: Edda, daughter of the former Reichamarschell Hermann Goering, now living with her mother Emmy Goering Sonnemann in Munich was confirmed last Sunday i the Protestant Crucifix Church in Munich- Schwabing. Many relatives and friends had come among them the sister of Karin Goering, the first wife of Goering after whose Christian name he called his hunting-seat Karinhall in the Schorfheide near Berlin.
