May 07, 1951 - A souvenir of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This little recreation of the inner city is a particular curiosity for the memento collectors among the visitors to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, renowned throughout the world for its well-preserved, medieval inner city. It recreates the tiny doors, windows, towers, and walls, as well as the municipal hall. The creator of this piece is Hilda Wollers, one of the few German goldsmiths. She made it in her Rothernburg workshop. The seal ring in the picture gives a comparison on the size of the model. Obviously, any memento-collector would love this piece
