Sep. 13, 1953 - A US - Study Group in Germany. At the invitation and cost of the German government, a study group from the US will come to Germany for the first time in the post-war period. The group wants to gain more knowledge about contemporary Germany and will be in the country for the next four weeks. It consists of church dignitaries and community politicians. The most notable member is Dr. Norman Salit, president of the Synagogue Council of America, shown here shaking hands with Dr. G?nther Werner(right)
