Oct. 10, 1953 - Prisoner Memorial Week in Berlin: To the opening of the Prisoner Memorial Week 1953 a memorial light was brought in an air plane from the German Republic to Berlin. From sportsmen it was carried straight across Berling and on the Ernst Reuter Platz it kindled a remembrance fire on the established Prisoner Memorial Pillar. The fire will burnill the 25th of October
