Jan. 05, 1953 - The Schlitter case, kicked up a lot of dust when it became known, that the wife of the embassy counselor used the expression feindliches Ausland or enemy nation/s in a speech during a Christmas celebration. With this somewhat unlucky label, she wanted to remind the members of the German embassy that they are in a country in which the impressions of last war are not completely faded.
