Jun. 06, 1953 - West Berlin citizens return.: Quite surprisingly the Soviets opened a passport-office at Brandenburger Tor. The first citizens of West Berlin who were in the East sector when the riots broke out and could not return as the borderline was blocked up were now brought to the sectorial borderline by the people's police. Photo shows citizens of Western Berlin returning from the East sector now listed in a certain distance from the sectorial borderline by West-Berlin policemen
