Jun. 23, 1954 - A good flying ability and much luck saved a British RAF pilot when the engine to his plane suddenly died two kilometers away from Hamburg. He managed to land on the Autobahn between Hamburg and L?beck. The plane skid across the autobahn and into a cornfield. The pilot clambered out of the cockpit uninjured
