Sep. 08, 1955 - Leading German fashion designer Charles Ritter was showing off his 1955/56 fall/winter collection at a press exhibition in the Hotel Atlantic. Tennessee Williams was at the hotel as well and was so impressed that he purchased some of the dresses for the actresses in his upcoming production, which he is keeping firmly under wraps.
