Sep. 17, 1955 - On the way to Oktoberfest.. The marching of the big steins was the sign of the opening of Munich's Oktoberfest 1955 on Sunday. The crack of sixteen gunshots rang out and the first beer flowed from the tap. Our picture shows the gigantic steins reveling in the cheers of Munich residents during the festival
