Jun. 28, 1956 - Defense Minister Theodor Blank said Cheers! to chamber foreman Karl Jetz(of Pr?m/Eifel) and opened the feast to celebrate the opening of the first 1, 000 man barracks of the German Armed Forces. The celebratory wreath had previously been hoisted above the company building. Defense Minister Theodor Blank thanked the construction workers and announced that forty more barracks would be built in the region
