Mar. 19, 1957 - Against the German captain.. The trial against the German captain Karl Ahrens began on Tuesday March 19, 1957 in the Hamburg district court. Last year Ahrens requested a French warship via radio once he discovered that there were German deserters from the French Foreign Legion on board his ship.
