Apr. 13, 1957 - Street-fights in east-berlin: The east-zone government arranged on April 13th a grea manoeuvre of the factory-fighting groups together with units of the police in the streets of east Berlin. The fights happened near the Alexander-place and in front east-Berlin townhall. Also tanks attended the manoeuvre. The fighting groups used unsharp munition. The fights had the character of a citizen war
