Jul. 23, 1956 - This man from Wuppertal proved his exemplary public spirit. On July 11, shortly before 11am, a bold attack on the bank at Solingen-Wald was committed by a robber who bore a striking resemblance to our hero. He made out with 4, 300DM. The citizen, who was nearly arrested due to the description given by the robbed bank tellers, had a solid alibi. However, he gave the police a picture of himself so that they could search for the robber. The police could only say Well, he does look like the robber. A large reward was offered in the investigation of the perpetrator. The manhunt is all throughout the state, because it must be assumed that the robber tried to flee with the stolen money
