Nov. 11, 1957 - For the German People mourning day There is a heavy wood-cross of oak-wood on the Knecht - sand, sand-bank at the coast of the north-sea. Fisherman erected it there because one of them died on sea in 1941 and his body was burried there where it was thrown on land. There the cross was erected and the water overcomes it during flood, ther-fore it is already quite bend down
