Feb. 02, 1959 - Dr. Otto John leaves: Dr. Otto John, the 49-year old former West German security chief, was escorted by police on to the cross-channel steamer Prince Philippe at Dover today, after being declared an undesirable alien'. He was refused permission to land yesterday afternoon after arriving aboard the Prince Philippe from Ostend. Dr. John spent the night aboard the ship and was transferred to a police cell on Dover Marine station for breakfast. His wife, Mrs. Lucie John, of Netherhall Gardens, Hampstead, London, tried to telephone him but Dr. John was not allowed to take the call.
