Dec. 21, 1957 - Proceeds of the Californian Oktoberfest for Bavarian Orphans. Bavarian Prime Minister Dr. Hanns Seidel was handed a check for over, 500 dollars by the soldiers of the 5th Division of the American army stationed in Bavaria. The donation is meant for Bavarian orphans in Munich, Augsburg, and Feldkirchen and is the income gained from the California Oktoberfest, which the soldiers hosted in commemoration of their time in Bavaria. Pictured: Prime Minister Dr. Seidel hands over the proceeds to the representatives of the orphanage(left). In attendance behind PM Seidel(from left to right) are Col. Robert Tunner(in uniform), General Consul Page, and US Liaison Officer van Buskirk
