Oct. 10, 1959 - The West-Berlin police had to intervene: A provocation the West-Berlin senate called the hoisting of the so-called State flag of East-Germany, bearing hammer and compass, on the West-Berlin stations. In the evening of Oct.6th, 1959, these flags were brought down again by West-Berlin police and confiscated. During this action, it came to heavy Collisions between communists and police, demanding 5 injured on side of the side of the West-Berlin police.
