Dec. 26 Franz-Josef Strauss Has A Double: Is this Franz-Josef Strauss or not?'.. that is the question It is F.J Strauss, however only on the right side of the picture. The person on the left part is his double, a civil servant from Munich, who rather not has his name mentioned. More thatn once, the 55 years old double has been taken for the prominent politician, something which is sometimes very amusing. The funniest thing which happened, was when the double entered a wine put, where F.J. Strauss had reserved a table on the same night As he entered the pub with some friends, he was heartily welcomed as Mr. Strauss as so he did not hesitate to take the real Strauss walked in and it did not take long, until loud laughter was heard in the pub because of the mistake which had been made. Being the double of Strauss made the civil servant become the person on the advertising picture of a furniture factory.
