Ulrich Sahm: After April new West German Ambassador in Moscow. Ministerial Director Ulrich Sahm of the Federal Chancellor Office will become West German Ambassador in Moscow after April 1st, 1972. He will take over the position from Helmut Allardt who will be pensioned when he becomes of age at the end of March. Ulrich Sahm, who was born in Bochum and lived in Danzig and Berlin, is 54 years old. After having belonged to the Foreign Service since 1951, he changed over to the Palais Schaumburg upon request of Federal Chancellor Willy Brandt. Among other things, he prepared the meetings with the Minister President of the German Democratic Republic, Willi Stoph, in Erfurt and Kessel. Keystone Bild, 15-3-1972
