Germany - Lithuania - Poland

Feb. 25 Sectorial border-line open again: Three weeks after the cutting off of the interzonal traffic the Communist administration of Eastern Berlin was led to cancel the vexations which made impossible a somehow normal life in the four-sectors city. Free traffic between Eastern and Western Berlin is permitted again. There are no more passports necessary which were introduced by the people's police. Also motor-vehicles are allowed to cross the sectorial borderline. On the first day after the re-opening of the borderline the traffic kept within very narrow limits.
