1953 - North-Germans from New York fly to Bremen: With a plane of the SAS 70 members of the Low-German people club from New York arrived for a Germany tour in Bremen. Some of them did not see their home country for 30 years. The city, many clubs and the population welcomed the friends from America. And there was a festive reception in the town hall by the mayor of Bremen Wilhelm Kaisen and the senate. After a two-days-stay they want to fly to Duesseldorf and then to ride in busses to Cologne and Bonn where travelling on to Ruedesheim, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and then back to Hanover and Hamburg and from there they return to America
