Jul. 29, 1955 - 29-7-55 Reds hold up U.S. relief food lorry in Berlin Communist border guards held up a United States relief food lorry for one hour before allowing it to enter Berlin today. The lorry laden with supplies for distribution to hungry East Germans was halted at Babelsburg, outside Berlin. The cargo was for West Berlin centres, which are supplying food to East Berliners.
