Feb. 25 July 1979 East Berlin, then and now These two pictures tell the tale of East Berlin in the grim war days, and the efforts that have been made to reshape the same are after 34 years. The only original buildings left among the new, is the Church of the Klosterkirche, now a roofless museum (bottom right of picture), and the original Palace of Justice on Alexanderplatz, behind the church
