Feb. 25 World Champion in stemming barrels Beer drivers of the great Munich breweries met on May 5th, the Brewery Festival Day 1963, for the traditional barrel lift. Six real Bavarian men began with the lift of 25 litres barrels (47 kg). That could accomplished everybody. The 50 litre barrel (88 kg) was only lifted by Johann Schneider and by this he won the World Championship in barrel lift. Keystone picture of May 6th, 63
