Germany - Lithuania - Poland

What a way to launch an Airship: As this 12 metres long Zeppelin was built entirely in the cinfines of a building in Westfalehalle in Dortmund, West Germany, the only way to get it out and into the air was through the window. This Airship was built by 76 year-old pensioner Eduard Kruger. He spent 10 years at a cost of 5000-DM. The Zeppelin is covered with a this silver-foil and is powered by two motors and it can be remote controlled. Its first flight was over the Westfalen Stadium
