Feb. 29 SMALLEST TOWN HALL OF THE WORLD IS IN BERLIN It is probably the smallest town hall of the world, this building at the Island of Reiswerder in West-Berlin (our picture). And sometimes even meetings are held in the building with a basal surface of only 40 square metres. But it is not the mayor and his council who come together here, but the Association of Nature-lovers, of which the building is the office. The small town hall actually was built on another island, but as the island had to be evacuated in war, the Nature-lovers simply took their building with them to the neighboring island of Reiswerder
