Mar. 22 Peter Lorenz Released On Wednesday March 5th, shortly after midnight, the chairman of the West-Berlin Christian Democratic Party, Peter Lorenz, was set free by his kidnappers.He had been kidnapped on February 27th by the anarchist group Bewegung 2. Juni, who demanded the release of six imprisoned Leftists, letting them leave the country. Five of them took the chance and flew, accompanied by Heinrich Albertz to South Yemen. When Heinrich Albertz had returned to West-Berlin he read in a television a message of the released persons, which has to be the sign for the kidnappers to let Peter Lorenz free. Our Picture Shows:- Peter Lorenz at a press conference the next day, saying that he had been treated well. As soon as he was set free, the police started the biggest search ever held in West-Berlin
