The motive was Operation Sail 1976, a regatta from Bermuda to Newport, in occasion of the 200-year-existence of the USA. For this great victory Hans Baron of Stackelberg (HANS BARON OF STACKELBERG), the commander of the Gorch Fock, now was awarded in Hamburg the Five Sisters Trophy from Frank O. Baynard of the USA, which he shows here beaming with joy
