Mar. 02 Within two minutes a happy couple for one day: Finally every body wants to be married once - but not every where you may do this so quick as on the Silesian Wedding market in Wodel/Holstein. You merely go to the registerar and within two minutes your are a couple. But all that happiness is for one day only. After one day the marriage contract is no more valid. but all those couples which then really marry for the whole life will get a prize by the city of Wodel on next wedding-market. The one who believes that this is a marriage-broker's office on a large scale is really misunderstanding the whole thing. The wedding-market is one of the greatest Silesian popular festivals which already takes place since the 12th century at the Zobten Mountain in the place Gorkau-Rosalienthal. It is celebrated only once per year- on Ascension Day. Special trains wer arriving every 10 minutes. There were such large crowds that it was really dangerous. Even on the roofs of the railway cars many young people were travelling
